How each price is figured: weight (dump cost is $75 a ton) + the space it takes in the trailer + handling time. That's why a recliner is $47.50 and a sofa is $102.43, not a round number. Every job has a $150 minimum — if your total comes to less, the minimum applies and your estimate shows it. Items marked FROM are starting prices. Items marked PHOTO REQUIRED need a photo to confirm the price — add the item with + like any other item, then add a photo with the photo button on its card or in the booking form. A photo is required before booking can complete. Whenever a price needs picture confirmation like that, we review the photo and, if the price needs adjusting, your adjusted quote is sent within 24 hours. Items that need breakdown (large entertainment centers, pool tables, large desks, bunk beds and similar) are priced a little higher because the breakdown time is included.
Bigger jobs save automatically: build a quote of $400 or more and you get 5% off; $700 or more gets 10% off. The discount applies itself in the bar at the bottom as you add items — and the bar tells you live how much more to add to unlock the next tier, like “Add $63 more to unlock 5% off.” The $150 minimum still applies after the discount, so no job ever drops below $150. One discount per job: the tier discount doesn't stack with any other coupon or offer — you automatically get whichever single discount saves you more.

Every item price is figured from its weight (dump cost runs $75 a ton), the trailer space it takes, and handling time. Bigger jobs are priced from your photos. Either way, your firm price is confirmed before the job is booked, and it doesn't change on site unless the job is different from what was described.
What happens after I book and pay?
You pick a preferred date, a backup day, and a morning, afternoon, or evening slot, then pay Union Junk on this site. Your job is posted for a hauler for your preferred date first — if that day fills up, we use your backup day in the same time slot and text you either way. Union Junk pays your hauler after the job is done, and your exact address is only ever sent to the hauler who takes your job — never posted publicly.
Do I need to be home?
For items at the curb or in the driveway, usually not — just make sure we can get to them. For anything inside the home, someone 18 or older needs to be there to let the crew in.
What won't you take?
